Women’s Slalom World Championships

Favorite in the Slalom event, the last race of the 2015 World Ski Championships, Mikaela Shiffrin of the USA extended her slalom dominance by becoming World Champion for the second consecutive time, winning in 1:38:48. Frida Hansdotter of Sweden finished second with +0.34 and Sarka Strachova of the Czech Republic with +0.77.

 

 

Shiffrin, who became the youngest Olympic slalom champion in Sochi, was defending her World title in the slalom in Beaver Creek, Colorado, USA.
