4 Valleys Ski Area Saved For 18 years

Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon ski resorts in Valais, Switzerland, came out of a dead-end and reached an agreement just on-time for the winter season to save the existence of Switzerland’s largest area for another 18 years.

Aware of the importance of finding a solution for the operation of the 4 Valleys at the dawn of the next winter season, the four partners Téléverbier, Télé-Nendaz, Téléveysonnaz and Télé-Thyon companies decided to extend the validity of the current agreement. The partners have also committed by agreement to strengthen collaboration.

The issue stirred the canton of Valais since Verbier had endorsed a separation from the other resorts in July, with announced ski pass prices for winter 2014-2015 not including Thyon, Veysonnaz and Nendaz.
