Maria Hoefl Riesch of Germany won her second World Cup Downhill back to back in less than two days! The two time Olympic gold medallist Hoefl Riesch won with a time of 1:55:09 finishing 0.34 seconds ahead of Tina Weirather of Liechtenstein taking 2nd place and Anna Fenninger of Austria placing third with a time of 1:55:56.
Lindsey Vonn continued her comeback from injury with an improved performance in Lake Louise; She skied more aggressively Saturday crossing the finish line in 1:56:35 finishing +1.26 from the leader taking 11th place and first of the American skiers.
The women return to the Lake Louise slopes for a Super G. on Sunday.
