Europacup Slalom in Vemdalen

Daniel Yule of Switzerland wins the European Cup Slalom in Vemdalen, Sweden with a total time of 1:19:15, +0:20 ahead of Sebastian Foss Solevaag of Norway, leaving the third place to Jean -Baptiste Grange of France with only +0:28 from the lead.

Co-favorite Mattias Hargin of Sweden missed the podium by 15 hundredths of a second making the 4th place. His compatriot Axel Bäck finished the race in 5th place with +0:54 from the lead, followed by Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway with +0.87 and Per Saxvall of Sweden with +1.11.

The Austria and German skiers did not quite satisfy their respected Ski Federations as the best Austrians classified Manuel Feller +1.65 ranks 17th , Philipp Schmid of Germany with +1.81 and David Ketterer with +2.95 positioned themselves in positions 20 and 27 still within the top 30.
