The American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn crashed during a downhill training on Tuesday at Copper Mountain, Colorado (USA) and will undergo an MRI on an injured knee, which was already badly affected at the World Cup in Schladming (Austria) last winter.
The 29 year old suffered a slight compression of the right knee, a tear in the right cruciate ligament and light abrasions to the face and also a shoulder bruise. She needs a few days rest before they can start another physiotherapy. Depending on how they respond to this therapy, it is what the precise timing of when and where they will celebrate their comeback.
She was not admitted to the hospital and is currently being evaluated by the U.S. women’s ski team doctors back in Vail, Colorado (USA).
We wish her a speedy recovery!
