Neureuther Wins Kitzbühel Slalom

Felix Neureuther of Germany won the 2014 Hahnenkamm slalom following a tight race between him and Marcel Hirscher of Austria. In the first run, Marcel Hirscher straddled a gate in the second run and Felix Neureuther was able to celebrate his second career win at the Classic venue at the Kitzbühel Slalom, allowing the eighth World Cup victory of his career and a total of 25 podiums.

Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway clocked the second best time of the evening with a total time of 1:53:80 and after Adelboden added another big Classic podium to his account. Patrick Thaler of Italy finished third with 1:54:05 and fourth place for last week’s Wengen’s winner Alexis Pinturault of France with1:54:28.
