Snow season is on! Get ready indoor

Higher resorts across the French, Swiss and Austrian Alps as well as in North America started opening to the public this weekend with early snow falls and man-made-snow. Local and regional skiers and snowboarders are the first one to try out this season but what about those of you who live far away from the mountains?

BornSkier will be attending the London Ski and Snowboard Show next week and was on a short European tour of indoor ski slopes, where avid skier, snowboarders, telemarkers as well as disabled can practice turns and experience a winter like activity close to home and far, sometimes very far from the mountains!

Amnéville Snowhall in northern France is one of Europe’s largest indoor ski and snowboard facility with one of the longest slope of all. Thanks to the quality of its infrastructure and equipment, visitors are welcomed in an alpine style hall with a restaurant, bar and lounge with a slope view, and a counter, equipment rental and ski school chalet on the side which directly accesses the slopes. The Amnéville Snowhall is dedicated to its disabled skiers and snowboarders with a complete line of high quality equipment depending on disability and offers special courses and guiding.

Such indoor ski center are the best pre-season or pre-trip preparation available as it is the closest thing to the mountain experience. Its offers infinite descent and is suitable for everyone, for beginners as well as for advanced skiers and snowboarders with minimal risk on injuries. There, no cold, no wind, no snowstorm and no waiting, only intensive skiing and a fun work out in a unique environment.
