Biathlon – Men:  Martin Fourcade has done it again! For the second time in these Olympics the French biathlon skier has won gold, topping the podium in the 20 kilometer race. Martin Fourcade came in with a total time of 49:31:7 and taking just one penalty in the shooting portion. Erik Lesser of Germany took the silver with a time of 49:43.9 (+12.2), while Evgeniy Garanichev of Russia the bronze with a time of 50:06:2 (+34.5).

Cross-Country – Women:  Justyna Kowalcyzk of Poland was able to put together an incredible and inspiring performance to claim gold for her country in Sochi. Kowalcyzk was dealing with a broken foot, but was able to muscle through the pain to win the race in a time of 28:17:8 by more than 18 seconds. Charlotte Kalla of Sweden finished second to take silver in 28:36:2, while Therese Johaug of Norway finished in third-place claiming bronze with a time of 28:46:1.

Freestyle Skiing – Men:  Americans took home the gold, silver, and bronze medal in the inaugural men’s skiing slopestyle competition in Sochi. Joss Christensen from Park City, Utah, won the gold medal with a score of 95.80 followed by Gus Kenworthy with 93.60 and Nick Goepper with 92.40. James Woods of Great Britain’s finishes fifth in the men’s ski slopestyle final with a best run score of 86.60.
