On Sunday, the 2014 Winter Paralympics came to an end with the closing ceremonies, as the nations proudly marched through the arena one final time to be acknowledged for their efforts in Sochi, Russia.
With the games now in the books, we have a final tally for the medal count, which host nation Russia dominated from the jump.
Russia earned an unbelievable 30 gold medals and 80 overall medals to blow away the rest of the competition. Russia’s overall medal count set a new record in the Paralympic Games.
