There was plenty of action in Steamboat, Colorado, USA for the North American stop of the 2014 FIS Telemark World Cup. But instead of this World Cup event, there should have been room for Telemark in Sochi, or earlier rather!…

Under great weather and snow conditions, Amelie Reymond of Switzerland – a bornskier ambassador – was the top woman in all four World Cup events scheduled to take place in Steamboat Springs this week, just as she did for all except one World Cup this 2013-2014 season. Tobias Mueller of Germany, current World Cup leader, won three of the four event, finishing at the fourth place in the Men’s Sprint, leaving a gold medal for Philippe Lau of France.
